Yeah..... Not much room. Going to replace them with some peerless HDS 8" Woofers this weekend. Might sell the pods if anyone else is crazy enough to use them. Not a problem for me to drive because i am tall. Had a mate drive it and he was short and he didn't like it to much.

Note.
The photo is not a good one it is actually easier than it looks

New door speakers are in. I still need to finish them off by covering them or bogging and painting.

Those woofers look much better 8-). Are they the 8" Peerless 830869 woofers? How do they sound?

Here's some updated shots of my boot install at the moment. Changed to a pair of Image Dynamics IDQ12v2d4's and an E-Audio 1000D amp to give them 1kwrms @ 1 ohm. Sub's are in separated 1.0 cuft enclosures.

Hi Guys,

New on here, EFII Fairmont Ghia set up purely for SPL (but sounds good on SQ as well when its tuned down lol). Not setup for looks, as things like carpet can actually reduce SPL

Still a work in progress....more to go!

Headunit: JVC
Amps: 2 x LW2600d (soon to change)
Subs: 2 x RE MT 15's

Having a play with 2 x 18" Mach5 IXL woofers. Here is a standard 12" between them.

Mounted in the boot. Still needs finishing.

Those are some serious subs. depending on the box you build for them, will sound f'n awesome or be really loud. (or if the box is bad, they'll be loud but crummy sounding)

How is it that people post reasonable things on this site and get bagged out, but when you post something stupidly over the top and pointless you get praised ?
With proper speaker,sub/box combo choice you will still be able to touch the bloody accelerator

sorry for the harsh opinion, maybe i'm missing the point.
