hi there, i have a current electrical problem in my 95 futura, now i no iuts a blue box as i have taken the dash out and its a blue box, i have gone to pick apart and found one out of a futura aswell, i have gone toi put it in and the engine wont crank over???? now this is weird because i have had a black box, put that in, it would crank over but no power windows, so and so... um between the blue box's one came out opf a station wagon and mine is a sedan but i dont no why it would make any diff... product number is the same, i have programed my smart lock remote for the doors and they do open and lock, also on the cluster the smart lock continues to flash and gets faster once in run. then when u try to crank it over it cuts all power from the cluster and resets like its in acc mode... please help i hate having to tap my dash for the car to start :(

Alrighty, sounds like you have a problem there, easiest way to pin point what is wrong is to take down the number of times smart lock flashes and pauses then flashes again, and refer to your workshop manual (if you have one) what i mean by this it will go EG: (FLASH FLASH FLASH PAUSE FLASH PAUSE FLASH etc.) you will know a flash from a pause as the pause is about a second i think.

Im sure if you record them and post them here some one with a manual could tel you, it would be a good idea to get a manual as they help in more ways than one.

it'll be fine,
You need to program it,
Turn the IGNITION ON (second click) for 45minutes.
Wait till the Smartlock light is STEADY OR wait till the door locks cycle.
CRANK the car over, DO NOT TURN OFF THEN CRANK.
run for a few mins to charge the bat, then turn off.. cars right as rain.

Black box will work but has no provison for Power windows, Interior Dimming or Variable wipers.

Do the above with the new Blue box and it should be fine.
