I can sell you a pair of JL15w3 dvc subs if you want a GOOD set as opposed to cheap ones if you are interested...

Dump3d, a few questions. First of all what soundstream sub is the guy offering you? How much are you looking at spending? Are you after noise, quality or a combo of both? Are you looking at making your own box or buying one?

Theres alot of good, bad and indefferent stuff out there. If you can answer the above questions i may be able to give you some different options.

Trent

As trent said...how much are you willing to spend?

If you want pro sound, Digital Design are good, but at a cost. You're looking at $400+...but they are excellent subs.

Though Type-Rs are bloody good for their price...so I'd say Type-Rs if you can't afford more pro stuff.

JL comp subs are good too...like the ones outlawxr6 is selling.

phong =P~

I have the above but a single 10" great little sub with surprising punch. But a pair of 15's whould hammer. Depending on the exact model and how much outlawxr6 wants for them i would seriously consider the JL's.

Soundstream T4 or T5 are unbeatable for the price.

I love the Alpine stuff, quality for a good price.

I only have s-types (the one before the R) but 6 years later it still pumps like the day it came out of the box. Ive got another to install but still haven't got around to it :(

If you don't want rumble and you want it to be loud and punchy, go 2x 10's. A friend of mine has 2 x Rockford Fosgate 10's running @ 2ohms, and they hammer. Nice and punchy.

Plus the sub's sound will depending on how badly you've fvcked the parameters on the amp... If you're running one :s
Don't go bass heavy on the amp or it will make it sound like s**t
