Howdy

Just finished my stereo install and am after some advice.

After a while of listening to the stereo cranked ( The only way ) Im having problems where the sound decreases ( as if im turning the stereo up and down ) It does this off and on ( stereo will go back to normal then do it again ) My gear is

Pioneer Head unit
4 x RCAs ( Stinger )
Kenwood 4 channel Amplifier - KAC 8452
Heartz 6 x 9 speakers ( Very good speakers )
Sony xplode 12 inch sub
1f Capacitor

What i have tried

- Not using the cap
- Different speakers including wiring and disconnection of the sub
- The amp wire i am using is 8 gauge
- The amp is mounted on the side of the boot in an XE Fairmont Ghia.

Not sure what else to do.

Any advice or ideas would be good

PS - It also seems to do it when the amp is getting warm

If it is the amp over heating then it may be an idea to
connect a 12V computer fan to keep it cooll.

SOme of the higher pioneer decks have an auto adjust of the stereo volume by how much background noise there is. If this is on it might be doing something freaky?
