the factory stacker in my NFII 96' fairlane Ghia is buggerd, i'd rather not get a new head unit (single din factory at the moment) and just get a new stacker, what stacker would work with the stock head unit? also how much for a double din head unit?

get a 2nd handy from darren he will do you a good price on a genuien but apart from that im pretty sure most if not all aftermarket stackers wont work on the ford hu apart from old alpine ones if your lucky! and again with the double din unit ask darren (xr8_dismantler)

or you could follow our tech doco to plug in an mp3 player instead - never use the stacker again :)

There are Alpine stackers that will fit with this head unit. I was considering that for my NF 2 as well, however, I went to MP3 as that worked out to be cheaper, plus I could load CDs in the cabin.
