Hey guys,

Atm i have a 6" tube sub in my ute and while it does provide a good sound i want abit more kick. What i was thinking is two 8" subs (one on each side). Or should i just go one 8" or one 10" :?

Also, is there any problems in running 2 subs in parallel from the sub? I dont really wanna put another amp in

Thanks :)

yeah should still sound decent...just find a sub that has a smaller recommended volume, and then make you box to fit that.

i have a big 12in sub in my sedan and my box is 1.5cu ft, so im sure if you get the right 10in you should be lookin at around 1cu ft...just make the box as deep as possible (better clearance for sub inside box)

get a 12 and get a custom fitter to make a weatherproof box to fit under ur chassis but behind the cab, then port it directly into ur cab thru the air vents behind ur seats, ive seen it done before , doesnt reduce space and has good bass :P

If you want a nice clear tight but relly hard hitting sub...go the p3 punch 8" woofer under each of the front cab seats.

Mate has em in his toyota one tonner and it sounds awesome. Great thing about utes less room to loose volume.

2 8" kicker L7's would do the job. L7's are designed for tight spaces and smaller than normal boxes
