hey guys, wondering about this newish sub i brought. got a second hand amp and sub, new wires. went ok, sub kept on cutting out though

also went to start the car yesterday morning and the battery was dead.... what could be causing this?

I'm going with a short in the wiring somewhere, that could cause it to go into protection mode and always explains the dead battery.

I'm assuming there is a fuse towards teh battery end of the +ve wire.

you prob have the red and yellow wires around the wrong way

we got a second hand kicker comp and a 4 channel amp
i think aaron will have to have more of a fiddle with it, thanks for that guys :D

It may be a battery problem. Amplifier probably has low voltage protection,. When the voltage drops below 10v it will stop working.

Try hooking a charger onto the battery to supply voltage and then try.

I assume power earth and remote turn on are all connected properly?
