I use Soundstream R.60Cs up front and cant fault them.... not sure how they compare with cost to the ones your looking at though.

Hey Kit .... I've been told Alberts in Perth can get Boston gear but may not have any on site to demo. Might pay to give them a ring anyway, they might be able to direct you to a Boston stockist/dealer for a demo. There are lots of choices for good 6.5 splits from lots of manufacturers .... 
Have a look at the ranges available from the following as a start .... Alpine, Focal, Hertz, MB Quart, Boston, Oz Audio, Morel, DLS
