You are normally best off using a Frequency specific disk. I use SPL shootout but a number are available.

Iwill have thst one + the MTX bass disc available for use at thetest and tune day

I use test tones from a bass mekanik cd. 3 second blasts from a particular frequency hz.
To find the best one turn it to enough volume so the meter reads and start at i guess 30hz and go up 3hz at a time. 30, 33, 36 and so on until it decreases and when you get your highest reading play around that frequency.
I havnt done it in my falcon yet, but my laser was loudest at 47hz. I was averaging 136-139 with 2 x 10"sonys with 150rms each in sealed boxes. So not ideal spl subs.

If people make it along to the test and tune day then they can play with my bass disc's all they like.
