Hello Everyone.

We are currently building a tandem trailer for work. Anyway, it will be towed behind my BF falcon ute and or a small truck.

Can anyone think of a good way to overcome the wiring issues of the 12volt falcon and the 24volt truck.

Can inline resistors be installed to drop the 24volt current down to 12volt, thus only having 12volt lights fitted??

any ideas would be great

cheers
coops

use led trailer lights, they can handle from about 8 v to 24v. Problem solvered.

yes they can BUT wont the intesity of the LEDS be due to the incoming voltage? or are they auto sensing so to speak ?

If the LED in the trailer lights are rated from 8-24v. They'll work at their full intensity at any of those voltages.
