with the ALPINE deck that was installed in the EB-ED FAIRMONT NA-NC FAIRLANE.
I was wonderin if you can still keep the 6 stacker in the boot & upgrade the deck?
can it be done?

im also interested as mine has a 6 stacker alpine premium s**t (like all the speakers are blown)
so its running the fully sick 8" sub uleh! and thats it... :p
i dont wanna replace the stacker either

should still work on a alpine hu no problems, if you want another brand headunit you hafta buy a FM modulator from any car audio store, then you run ure stacker off the radio station.

Is that just the older Alpines, or would it work on the newer ones too (like, say, my CDA-9827)?

M-Bus is most likely what you'll need.

I bought one for my 96 futura and retained the stacker.

ummm, couldn't tell you the model number though. It was about 9 months ago?
