I have an EL XR6. I installed the premium audio from my EF Ghia before I sold it. Everything except the speakers...I dont know if the premium speakers were different? So I have all premium audio with standard EL speakers.

What I want to know is:

Should I sell the whole premium audio setup, h/u, amp/sub/changer, and get 200-300 for it? And slowly start adding new H/U, speakers/amp/sub etc...

OR

Keep the H/U and buy new speakers, sub and maybe amp?

I dont want competition winning sound, just nice loud crisp sound...

Budget is a major factor here too...If I sell the whole kit, that money will have to buy me a H/U and Ill start buying new speakers over next few months.

Or I can probably afford to buy new speakers ATM...

Ideas? Opinions?

i think keep your headunit (cd stacker right), and add large amplifier(s) and speakers/subs.

While you still have the ford mazda sound premium system save some money for the new one and then sell it.
