The DLS OA8's the way to go have recently puchased 2 and they sound great and the bonus is I won't loose any boot space.....I also mentioned the Kicker SSMB82 which sound resonably good aswell.

bugger...hurry up lol

i am also looking into getting 2 x 8" subs....probably go the JayCar way as well or maybe if i get the dosh get 2 DLS ones...if they are good....supposedly they are. but yeah going to add the 8" subs to my 10" free air sub....so 3 free air subs behind my seat....would that be okay or would there be some weird thing happening? btw i hate making boxes......takes up too much room in the boot.

phong =P~

The dd 8 is a awesome sub but not designed for free air.

Aaron. Do you know how any of those 8's will perform off a stock ba premium sound amp? i wanna get a little more bass out of my stereo without putting subs in teh boot, been there, done that and got sick of it, also id like to utilise the stock amp just to cut down on wiring and because the stereo needs the stock amp in place for the speaker to run proiperly. ANy advice would be help.
Ps sorry for hijacking the thread.

hey....i built my own box and it barely eats into boot space, houses a 12in that plays very loud (700wrms)...only needs 1.5cu ft box :)

I recently got an Earthquake SWS-8 for not that much, it's not free air, but it's a slim line model, they come in 10" aswell, and rrequire very tiny sub boxs!

So which of these subs would be suitable for the parcel shelf (free to air), while ALSO allowing the installation of a gas tank later on? None?
