I am not too sure about this, so I thought that it would be worth a try. Is the main wiring plug (the one that contains the power, earth etc) on the EF/EL premuim sound the same as the EF/EL's that were not fitted with premuim sound?

I am looking to obtain one of the aeropro adapter plugs (EL to bare wires) so that I can add my aftermarket headunits and later on, return the car back to the factory premium sound.

From what I can see in the tech doco's the wiring is different, but the plug has the same amount of pins. Is the shape of the plugs the same, just with different pinouts are are the plugs themselves different in shape?
