400W rms is good, reaaly good, whether they do it is another thing

RMS is the true power handling capacity when not maxxed out out. or near enough too,

ask big kev or pyroay for in depth info

I think my AMP with 220watt peak power would be way to weak to run these speakers properly...
I think these 2 would be better... ne 1 heard of the brand pyramid?

I would go the Kenwoods out of these 3. The Rockwoods and Pyramids both look like Audioline crap. Im not that keen on Kenwood either. As far as i know RMS = Root Mean Squared.

As the guys have said xxW (watts - measurement of power) RMS (Root Mean Squared) is the measurement of sustained continuous power that an amplifier can drive or speaker can handle on a daily basis. the W Peak value is simply the maximum output limit that an amplifier can safely produce / speaker driver can handle for a 'burst' period - normally round 2 seconds but can vary before the hardware is severly put at risk of faulting, breaking, burning coils etc.

I can't check Ebay at work so won't comment on the speaker choice..but good luck :)

Bugger Kev...I'm trying to push H3AT into buying the car...but then I thought the way H3AT drives, its safer that the car is in your garage collecting dust :P

Anyways back on topic, the speakers that were shown on ebay are Rockwood and Pyramids and in my opinion...they both suck wang.

You're better off getting some better quality speakers. If you are in a budget try JayCar audio...they seem good, if you want to spend some extra dollers for brand names, Pioneer, Cadence, Kenwood, etc are good. Of course there are different ranges, low, mid and pro series. Go to JB-HiFi or Autobarn or something and check out some of the prices. Strathfield and JB-HiFi usually have good bargains and sometimes make a better deal then what the ticker says.

phong =P~

Yeah, don't go the Rockwoods... Anyone who tries to copy Sony Xplod can't be making good products.
