Some one said l have to put a wire to two points in the diagnostic thingamajig 3 times instead of pushing the demister button but no one can tell me which 2 points(pins) and l cant find any info 4 a XH LongReach Panelvan. Can anyone HELP me PLEASE.

This may or may not help, but the utes (unless optioned) didn't come out with a rear demister either, so whatever works for them works for the panel van.
Good luck and welcome to the site. 8-)

Me thinks you've already read http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15016.

Since yours is a 96 model, it will be an XH series I, which unfortunately, keyless entry was only wired up in 'S' and XR models. GLI's dip out.

All XH series II had keyless entry.
http://members.dodo.com.au/~algis/index5.htm has all the info you need to add the necessary wires for keyless entry - hooking the lock/unlock lines to the BEM, and add the demist line to the diagnostics connector. You should only need to pull the drivers kickpanel, and drop the BEM down.

From memory I think you'll have the door actuators fitted - lock/unlock a door with the key - if the other door follows, then they are fitted.

If you don't understand or are not confident, find someone who is to help out.
