For cheap stuff to make it look better outside.
Heat up the badges on the back, and remove them. Just the XT one.
Get some Ford rims, cost about 1-1.5k for brand newies.
Lower it at least on Superlows, if not Ultra's.
You could get some of the Fairmont Ghia cornering lamps, and take out the lower airduct plastic mesh thing down low on the front bumper, and spray it a gun metal type colour.

you dont need a fairmount bar just push out the two ends where the lower blinkers are on a fairmont.kits about 350.00 from fords then wire them in as sports lights.a good exhaust will set you back 900.00 you need headers hi-flow cat and muffs run 2 and half inch is good that will give good flow and sound when lowering a must is camber kits or you get poor tyer wear wheels you can get from any where its what you like

Ok.. so im thinking of colour-coding my mirrors and also putting some different tinting on also. A guy over here in perth does alot of window tinting and he's bloody good. TKO Tinting he's called... does custom graphics, colours, chrome/mirror .. pretty much anything you want. So im considering mirror tint and maybe getting something on the back window. A Sydney Swans logo or something maybe :p

As far as exhaust goes, im planning on doing something very soon with it. Just today I went to a shop here in Perth that do alot of work on Fords. Called APC (Australian Performance Centres) .... I got a rough quote on the following to be installed:

-Extractors
-High Flow Performance APC Stainless Steel Exhaust
-High Flowed factory 'Cat'
-Cold Air Induction
------$1450------

Now...he didnt give me any brands or anything.. as I was only in for a quick quote, so can anyone tell me if this is a rip-off or not? I can understand if it is slightly higher than you local exhaust shop, as APC have a fair bit of recognition and from the looks of their workshop, reveiws, word of mouth, etc... they do a good job. As far as power increase, at a stab he said upwards of 20kw, on their website, it says 40kw, so....

Any feedback I can get regarding the exhaust system or anything would be sweet.

i see you got it from seaview ford in clarkson! just nect door is MCE - Mindarie Custom Exhausts - heard nothing but good things about them & their work, so may be worth a visit if you live up around there - i'm going to have a chat to them about mine when i get it moving, see if they can do something special!

APC did an awesome job of my BA XT.. with those mods plus an edit it made 185rwkw, good for a mid to high 14 second quarter.

Another Perthian! hehe, nah, i dont live near Clarkson.. but Seaveiw Ford had the best range of Falcon's when I was looking to buy. But i dont mind driving to get good work done on my car... Mindarie Custom Exhaust hey... might give them a call..

Im getting my BA soon i just want to know what is the max size rims that you can get on them without doing any major work and how much does it cost to get a BA lowered?

Probably cost a lot to lower it if you do it right, at least a grand.

And you could put 19's or 20's on it, tyres would be killer though.

Also I put on a new exaust recently, It's a the new lukey one, it's friggen awsome, pretty quiet, no drone, but when you open it up it sounds awsome.

How much for the exaust? im guessing pretty exy. BTY this is all australian dollars ey.

i am in brisbane and if i had a quote of $1450 i would throw the cash at him, i have had a couple of quotes done on similar stuff and had nothing come in under $3000. i have a BA with kings low springs and 18' rims and was wondering if the superlows casue bottoming out.... i have had no dramas with the lows

well for a start u can pull the sticker off under the xt badge it makes the cars look cheap and if ur after unique mabe this car will give u a few ideas

Mate! why did you go to seaview? just today I picked up my 03 BA XT with 116000 kms for 13 grand from Westside Auto Wholesalers
These guys are great.

When we went to Seaview the dealer tried to tell us that the price of second-hand falcons was going up LOL!!! idiots!

So yeah, anyone in Perth looking for a fairly new falcon, do yourself a favour and go to Westside Auto Wholesalers in Bentley.
