nice wheels mate. are you running hub adaptors? i need some for my TE50 wheels and am not sure if should get em.

needs to be lower???
i saw ace's car the other day, its pretty darn low, although i must admit in those photos it doesnt look that low, whether it be the angle or something, but it rides pretty low..

best way to check your speedo accuracy is with a hand held GPS, checked mine when i was doing 100km/h with 16" / 55 rubber GPS said 100.7km/h tryed a stock AU at 100km/h GPS said 97km/h.
before i got hold of a gps i asked the cops to check it with the speed gun and it was dead accurate at 100km/h.

The helpful fellows at Tempe Tyres hooked me up with some hub adapters ($50 each!!).
They did tell me they were illegal, but being an E series there werent too many rims around for this price that would bolt straight on.

I have to do some research and find out about problems with the hub adapters, like will they snap and lose my wheel etc.
(Why are they illegal??)

The rims are made by StarCorp.
Theres no model badge on it so I dunno what they are called, but they are made by Starcorp.

Its handy, the lip is unboltable, so if it gets scuffed on a gutter I can get it re-machined.

Now im counting the days until some faggot steals my valve caps, they are polished too.

Look a bit like the simmons FR range, but isnt. Nice rims, and i love the fact the outer lip is changeable!

Man those rims are hot!

I wouldn't go anything less than 18 anyways, bet ya you get some stares while your cruising :). Nothing beats the presence of some big rollers dont care what people on here say about illegal! LOL

Tell us if you run into problems with the hub adapters, cause now i'm really considering some nice big 18s as well.

well see how it goes, its gotta make the trip to summernats in january and its going through cop central ...

Need to find a way to hide the hub adapters ... maybe some new big brakes that are just as shiny...

there are quite a few nice rims out there for e series now they just arent as cheap as the crapodore wheels you get on the side of the road

the rims look good.. 18s are a gd size... i just got 18s for my ef fairmont.. using hub adapters..not spacers!! 18inch sabres "chrome shadow" with the 50mm lip... car now looks horny now...

Have a look at that thread, which will basically confuse you on the legality of Hub Adapters :P
They are safe but, the track is the same, so no extra load on suspension components.
And AFAIK no one has 'broken' one.
