i have a ba futura and was wanting to change from stock 16" to 18" or 19" but am unsure which would be better? will i have to change suspension? would like to lower but what springs to go for? would there be any difference in ride and handling?

nicee..i saw them on a ba xr yesterday an it turned my head..if its silver or yellew it will look hot but if its a dark colour it will look s**t.. i think

19's man. Those wheels will look stupid in 18" :)
You won't have to upgrade the suspension but it would look better lowered with those wheels. You should only need springs. Also, it'll make the car handle a bit better.

personally i dont like them, but its ur car, i ges on a light coloured ba they would look good.
r u getting genuine mak ones? if so 19s would be the got, if ur getting cheaper replica's get 18s i reckon, theyd be less likely to get crunched over a bump. that being said, the less tyre you have, the more care you will need to take obviously

Go all out. For $2000 you can have my 20's. I just purchased them a few months ago and paid almost $4000!!!..

Dude... thats 3 diff threads that ive noticed your trying to pawn them off for 2g's!!

I just put 19's on my BA futura about 2 weeks back now... handles a bit better, feels like it rides a bit stiffer in comparison to the stock 16's, which is nice.
You will wanna lower it... since i got the rims, evertime i look at the car i just get dissapointed that its not lowered yet.
But i wouldnt go 18's, they'll look too small.

the car is silver!!!!! so i think they will look awsome!

thanx 4 all the advice guys! i went for the 19" as suggested!

now can't wait to get them on and get the car lowered!

will post pics when i get them on!

and yes they r genuine mako's! only cost $1000 from ebay!
not bad i think!
