2000 AU falcon futura sedan just got a pioneer head unit with 12 inch sub and rear speakers. last week was an entire exhaust system. headers, extractors, cat and 2.5 cat back.

the car is a beast now, but next is the rims to make it look good and im wondering if the 2004 or 2005 model 18inch rims that xr8s and SOME xr6s have would suit the au falcon?

would the car still be completely driveable with these rims on it?
how much do u think ford charges for a set of 4 or 5 of them?

thanks people!! ford wont get back to me on it lol. :D

i know a guy who has those 18's on his au, its heritage green colour i think and they suit his car awsome, ive also seen them 18's on a white au and they looked crap as, so i reckon if u have a darker colour car it will look sweet as.

Yeah mine is that same colour. Congo green or something. The colour that makes white scratches stand out thanks to fat a*** who open their doors into it hahaha. Yeah, its a dark green.

that is no doubt without rubber... but damn thats still cheap. I thought the rims alone would be like $2500 considering its a ford dealership we are talking about lol

Headers and extractors are the same thing btw. Car will be fine with those rims but you're best off getting them from ebay or something, Ford will rip you a new one for stuff like that.

someone was asying they put some down on insurance and ford want like $4k for just the rims. they are common so should be able to get replicas at a bob jane or something like that.

I got the Fairlane lowered and 18s, for 1500, through a Ford dealer, so it doesnt cost them much.

have you filled out your profile wrong or are you just getting all the mods out the way so that when you're old enough to drive it, its all done.???

will look good, by the way. ba rims look good on au's and don't get them new or from a dealership unless money is not an issue
