hey guys i have a budget of about $500 to spend on some rims. i want to buy the au 2 xr copies in the e series offset (yes the ones that everyone has!) my question is should i be able to pick a set up with tyres for the above mentioned price? Average condition rim with maybe 60% tread???

i liked this rim for a long time and dont want anything too flashy, maybe even a similiar rim.... any advice??

cheers guys.

oh if u know anyone selling let me know...

yeah sorry dont like your chances of getting anything decent with rubber for 500 bucks, dont forget a good tyre for a 17" rim alone is gonna cost 200 bucks, for 500 prob get rims in poor cond with not much rubber

Tend to agree. You'll definitely find some with dodgy rubber for 400-500 but with good rubber, it will be a stretch.

17" tyres can be had for about $120 new these days, and some of the cheap tyres deffinately aint bad.
may be tricky but they do come up.
