hey guys,
my horn is broken and i was down at the local store checking out a basic horn to replace it with when i came accross...

the AIR HORNS!!!

the only problem i have to buying an air horn is where to mount the two air horns as the compressor would just bolt into where the original horn was. i cant find a spot close by where i could get a bolt or some sort in somewhere to mount the horns...

any thoughts?

cheers

-Daniel

how about under one of the guards??

remember tho, air horns arent legal..... you gotta retain the original horn, and the airhorns must be independantly switched...... although i dont reckon it'd be much of an issue

From personal experience, I'll never not have a fully functioning proper horn on my car again. When I first got my novelty horn I replaced it with the normal one, a month later i watched some d***head reverse into me, i was beeping the horn, but no one really notices a wolf whistle, wasn't enough time to get the car into reverse.
So anyways, unless the horn you buy is really noisy, I'd have two, one normal and one special.

We used to have a big a** air horn on the roof of our XG - was da bomb!

Had the compressor hidden in the back, and the chain to pull near the drivers window.

f**k it scared the s**t outta horses hahaha!!

But, in the 2 years it was on the car, it was never a problem with the cops.

One of my mods will be an air horn.
I use my horn all the time and something really offensive is whats called for.

s**t i want one.

just for any1's interest, air horns r legal as long as they r independantly switched and are of a single tone. ie, no AAAHOOOOO ones, multi horn systems r fine as long as they all sound at once and do not change pitch
