I have asked both FTG and the supplier (Sports Lights) if these are road legal, and both parties have no idea. Will be phoning the RTA tomorrow. Hopefully they are road legal cos i reckon they might look horn on my white baby.

bad on darker shade cars mayby... but on my white ef they are far more subtle while being different too... cant be too judgementle until you view the light in real life... photoes can be deceptive... i dont mind them the way they are... least they dont look too tri hard like other altezzas do...

ADR's require the car reflects red light when lit up from behind, EF/EL's use a reflector in the tail lamp assembly to do this, so u will need to add another ADR compliant reflector for these lights to be legal

Called the NSW RTA regulations guy today, the whole thing about red reflectors is a myth, the only regulations that need to be satisfied are:

1. The unit must be stamped with an Aus Standards marking
2. The globes must light up with the correct colours.

So, as long as these are aus standards certified, they're fair game.

ok just spoke to our supplier and these DO NOT meet current ADR's !!!!!!!

we have cancelled all of our order with the supplier as we dont want people getting fined for a product weve sold ,
we will fullfil the orders we allready have , or offer a full refund , its your choice but BE WARNED that they DO NOT meet ADR's, as far as i can tell if you stick a red reflector on either side they are then OK but im not going to guarantee them , it is purely your decision

if you have any questions please contact me.

THIS IS OUR DECISION ON THESE LIGHTS , IT MAY OR MAY NOT BE CORRECT AS WE ARE TOLD DIFFERENT THINGS!
THE DECISION IS YOURS, WE ARE SELLING THEM FOR OFF ROAD/SHOW USE ONLY!!!
