I know this might seem stupid but... After seeing PimpLTD with his BA lights conversion,I'm hooked gotta do one. But I wanted the BMW angels eyes headlights instead with the proper Xenon set-up. All is good but I need to know where I can get custom made lens for it since the E-series have the reflectors in the lens themselves. That will defeat the purpose of the mods. So I'm in VIC if anyone can point me in the right direction of where to get the custom "Polycarbonate lens made up, please let me know.Cheers

Getting new lenses made up is going to be real expensive, i have kinda looked into doing it and it just doesn't seem worth it. You can still fit bmw lights though, or make your own "angel eye" rings to suit a BA light conversion, thats what i plan to do.

Any light conversion into an E series would look better if the lenses where clear completly, but the cost will be too much.

Howvever if you can find someone who'll do it for a good price, hit us up.

Yeah that's the thing, with out clear lens,it's practically useless as the lens with refractors built in is just so out dated. I'll keep searching of course. What if I just use headlights cover? No go or what?

The shape of the glass lense prevents any 'easy' or ' cheap' method of using a clear lense.

There are benefits of using the factory lense. It helps "blend" the BA reflector in to the EB frame.

So true, I've read alot of your post and you do know your sh*t. What do you reckon if I can just get someone to maybe grind the reflector stuff out of the original glass till it's clear.Buff it and whack her over the angel eyes conversion again? Remember I want to convert it to Xenon as well. After driving the Missus Merc, it makes my poor EA lights looks like poo :(
