ok so in relation to hub adaptors... what is the minimum size width i would need for AU/BA offset wheels to fit on my EL. Ive done a search and cant turn up anything definate.

Reason is i found some 25mm ones cheap but i dont think there going to cut it. 30mm is the minimum? Correct?

Also spare me the legalities. Yes the are illegal in QLD. Yes they void your insurance policy but its the risk I take.

Cheers,
Woody

Depends on the width of the wheels. Remember also that if you skimp out and go thin ones it'll look wierd as the wheels will be sitting too far into the car...

ok the wheels in question are 350Z wheels. fitted the rears today. they sit in quite a bit. they dont touch anything but its close. I will need the 30mm ones for the front but the back may only need thin ones.

That would be silly - your rear wheels would then be sitting further inside that your front wheels. It would look queer and would mean you have shorted the wheel base at the rear.
Don't skimp out - buy proper decent and the correct adapters. Reason why people have trouble with hub adapters is cutting corners (i.e. using steel wheel nuts, etc.).

Yeah Basically most Nissan, Magna, Toyota 5 stud will be the same PCD as falcon and carry the AU/BA offset. I wasnt sure about these rims at first but they look quite good even if they are only 17".

The rears are on and yeah they sit right inside and look a little weird. Looks like 30mm front and back will sort things out. Just need to save a little more now to get the hub adapters.
