hundreds.... hahahaha, thousands mate.

a good respray will be $3000 upwards.

take it from me, dont go for cheap paint/panel works, you'll only be dissapointed. I had my panel/paint done on the cheap, and needless to say i want to kill the guy that did it, its anything but f**k tradesmanship.

Yeah you'll be looking at thousands mate.
If you got it all done for $3k, you'd be doing really well, if its a good job.
MrNasty's right, if you try and get it done really cheaply, it will always look that way, unless you know someone in the trade.

HAHAHA out of all the colours you have to choose black...

black shows ANY minor imperfection in the panel, so it needs to be 110% straight. not only that you are talking a complete colour change here, so you need to think about doing inside the boot, doors, engine bay, etc, etc.

READ: EXPENSIVE

a quality black colour change won't see much change out of 5K + depending on workshop

Its a whole new paint job not a respray to change the colour.

Think door jams, under bonnet and all the other crevices that need paint.
Might be better to trade up to a black or dark blue BF (typhoons come out in a dark colour :) )

falcon_3512003 i don't mind getting a quote from your mate. PM his number to me will ya? The problem is im getting a GT kit onto my XT and I think my current colour (ice mint silver) doesn't look too aggressive. Any ideas how to make it look more aggressive then?

If a colour change costs so much, how about respraying it in ice mint silver? There are small like dents all over my bumper and bonnet so im thinking of getting those out and have a fresh coat of paint over it after the kits are fitted.

Ice mint wouldn't look too bad with a GT kit on it. I mean i prefer them with no kits, but thats just me.
You culd get the front bar bonnet and two guards resprayed for less than a grand at most places. I'm not sure how much they'd charge to spray the whole kit for you though.

once you put your kit on colour code the side body moulds big wheels and tint the glass 20% lower it and nice zorst and air filter that way it will still look good and not attract the wrong sort of attention little things make all the difference
