Didn't manage to get a picture as I was too slow getting the phone while driving, but it's about the third time I've seen this AU wagon, it's some dark dark coolour, not black though, anyways it's got red stripping around it, lowered and these stupid XR stickers! But the rest is just standard Forte pov pack! I mean seriously who are they fooling?

maybe their fooling you all into thinking they care !!

with the amount of stock falc's these days with xr bits, tickford logo's and all sorts of bitsa's does it really matter ??

They are obviuosly happy with thier car, and if they want to dress it up to be something its not, why should they have to be flacked for it.

Half the ford's on this forums are pretenders.. and most look better and go better than theyre genuine XR tickford GT counterparts..

Pft. That's nothing. There is Gaewoo Nubira going around here with VY "SS" badges on the rear... TOTALLY GAY.

I agree, fake badging = serious stupidity! There was also a bloke around here that had a VL Calais N/A with "Turbo" badges on it!!!

Did the wagon even have an XR front?

No! that's my point they havn't even tried to make a replica! if they had I'd be there best mate, XR wagons are the shibniz! all they did was put some red sticker around the car (to imitate the red stirpping) and put these biggish red "XR" sticikers were the XR6/8 badges would be. It was lowered abit. And besides that it was com-pletely stock!

Gay!

Don't you just feel like going up to the owners of these cars and having a calm, rational conversation with them, starting with the question "why?"

I have yet to see one, but I'm sure they would!
My point with this one (incase you didn't catch it from my previous posts) was it was a near-STOCK AU FORTE with three identifyable mods, first a red stripe sticker running around the car, secondly red rather large "XR" stickers were XR6/8 badges would go on the appropriate car, and thirdly lowered suspension. No it did not have anyproper XR or Tickford parts on it, didn't even have an attempt at twin round headlights...
