hey, I'm just wondering what external differences BA's and BF's had? I still have trouble telling some of them apart, but I reckon I can tell a BF XT from a BA XT at least from the front.

Cheers, Gab

No BF that I'm aware of has LED tail lights. BF XRs do have flutes in the bar where the fog lights are and clear un frosted tail lights to tell a quick difference. All BFs have clear red tail lights though. And obviously different wheels on the XRs to the BAs

hey mate, he said look like led tail light not actual led. if you compare the ba and bf tail light when they are lit up you will see what he means. I rememeber seeing a thread somewhere, some posted a pic of a ba and bf tail light fitted so you can compare. i will see if i can dig it up

Cheers

Phil

I agree guys. The BF tail lights and front bar are a nice improvement on the BAs.

With the lower spec models (XT, Futura, Fairmont/Ghia etc. the shape of the front airdam was also changed on the BF (basically from one big hole to a smaller one with a pair of brake ducts either side). BFII was different again, with the bonnet, bumper and headlights all changed.

Yeah, good point. I didn't mean to say it like that.

Love the BFII Ghia. In fact my parents have one :)
