Hey all,

Still looking at some 19" rims for my BA XR6T ...narrowed it down to the following as per attached pics:

The 'FPV' & 'Shoreline' rims are my 2 favourites.

The last pic is a good representation of my BA's colour (Mercury Silver), but those XR8 rims are too common ...and I think they actually look better on E-series Falc's!

What do you think guys, ...Shoreline or FPV?

personally i don't like the chrome and silver together. i'd be going chrome with a black or possibly white at most. the GT wheels look nice though if you want a really nice 18" rim look at some 5/7/9 thin spoked wheels, something that still lets you see the brakes in their full glory...and if they are plain then either upgrade them or paint them :P

Thanks Rhyso,

The thing is, my 'Mercury Silver' car colour is actually more of a darker 'Gunmetal' finish, unlike the 'Lightning Strike' which is more Silver.

That's why I still think the Chrome will look good on my car, ...especially in bright sunlight!

However, the FPV rims are a 'safer' colour, that I still think will look great (especially in 19's) because of their styling & spoke width.

I don't really want to go any smaller than 19's, as the BA's seem to swallow up anything smaller!

Chrome rims always look cheap and tacky to me. Polished rims look much better.

I know 19s are the way to go on BAs but personally i reckon the standard 18" typhoon rims look pretty horn as well. Sorry i couldn't find a bigger pic of them on te fpv site :(

Chrome is s**t, others are better, 18s look fine, ride is rough enough, 19s would be a s**t ride. God some of you ppl should own Hondas, etc.

Big rims with a deep dished lip in shadow chrome (please dont go ricer chrome) would look abzalutely SIK. I agree that darker wheels on a light colored car would set the car off :)
