Need a few tips on how to remove the black plastic
strip part from the front bar of the BA XR6.

I'm putting in a lower grille an am stumped at the first hurdle.
Looks like it has some tabs there on the top edge, but I just
don't want to force it.....??

No to that one.

Got it sorted now. Just took a fair bit of jigging and frigging and
the aid of a butter knife, it snaps out and snaps back in.
