Had a butchers at a VX Holden Calais the other day (not to buy you must believe) and thought that the badges on the side of it looked pretty classy. Sooo ... i went to Auto One and picked up 2 EL Fairmont badges for $22 each, made up a jig and stuck them to the side of my Fairmont ala Calais style. What do you reckon?

yeah seen a few of these around now...dont mind them but the block letters this that of the calais i dont think really suit. Id be interesting to see what the rear fairmont badges on the door would look like instead???? hmmmm :lol:

Uh, they are the rear fairmont badges on the doors. Looks sweet but!

I like it.. i think the fonts suit the cars lines.. Cheap classy mod.. seperates you from the crowd..

I too have decked my car in commdore located badges... ive gone SS style!

i did this a while ago with my BA, take a look in my gallery, you cant see them too well, but they are there. mine are the BA badges, so they are not itallic like the EF/EL ones

i reckon it looks pretty good. i would be interested to se what it would lookk like with the badge under the mould, like EFNWIKD6 has.
I reckon i might be tempted to look at some BA ones for my ED wagon. maybe.

I reckon removing the fairmont badge on the rear and replacing it with a ticky badge, then put the fairmont badges on the side would look sweet as
