hey guys.
i wanna remove this pin stripe on the el it looks tacky,
any tips or advise you would give me?
sorry about the dodgey pic :) hope you can tell what i mean

arnt these just vinyl ?

if so just steam should remove them

if they are painted on then good luck with that lol

I heated mine up slightly with a hair dryer, then peeled/scraped it off with my fingernail. It worked okay lol

i used a little steam dream thingo to get the pin striping off my el.
then goo remover for the excess glue. ezy as.

I went and seen the smash repairs joint here and the loaned me an eraser wheel...

Looks identical to this...

I put it in a cordless drill... Lowest speed setting...

and hold it down on an angle and just crank the drill over slowly and it'll take it straight off...

Basically the wheel is like a rubber eraser for lead pencil... the rubber grabs the pin stripe and take it off... Its so handy I bought myself one...

BE AWARE IF YOU GO TOO FAST WITH THE DRILL YOU CAN MELT THROUGH THE PAINT... ITS TIME CONSUMING BUT SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE WITH THIS METHOD...

i used a hair dryer and a plastic scraper, came off in like 5 mins in one piece. just be careful not to heat the paint up.
