Hi, I asked in the x series section, but no reply....im picking up an XG Ute tomorrow and I have a question aboutt eh wheels and tyres.......Do 19's fit? and how wide can I go on the back? 265's? Fatter? Im also looking for a page with pic of x-series falcons(ute or sedan)to get ideas. I know im going matte black, just dunno which shoes to get. Have an idea what I want, but nothing set in stone.......im also thinking of dropping an LS series 8 in it at some point. Im sure its been done, but does anyone know of a site i can check out to see if its worth the effort? Thank you.

Got a mate with an XH (same rear guards/tub) and 19x8.5 front with 235's and 19x10.5 rear with 295's. They clear easily.

Hey mate. It depens on the overall size including the tyre, not sure on how it works, but maybe check vicroads website. As far as ls engine conversion goes from what I have read the ls engines are great cheap horsepower

Sounds like 19's are a go........i like the LS series. I grew up in America and put an LT1 in my Pontiac Fiero and it was a rocket, so it should move it quite well. The 5.0 is a bit of a dog unfortunately. Sounds great though.
