i had my blue LEDS parkers in for 2 days when i got pulled and handed a $79 dollar fine and a defect notice with 24hours to get it fixed.. and booked for a head light out as well. all up $239 for one blown head light and blue leds. he was a prick

It's common sense, really. You're not allowed to have blue lights of any kind on your car because you risk confusion with an emergency vehicle.

You're not allowed to have any colour other than white on the front of your vehicle. Red lights indicate the back of a vehicle, brake lights, red driving lights. White lights indicate the front of a vehicle, or in the case of reverse lights, that the vehicle is moving toward you. The same logic follows for the colour of the reflectors on the sides of the road, they match the lights of vehicles going in the associated directions to reduce confusion.

It's a fairly logical system. :D

yeah but if a 88 vl comonhore is driving up behind you with red and blue head lights (which arn't flashing) u wont think its an emergencey car wuld ya

yes it does seem to be common sense......

ok so now i've decided to go with ultra bright white led parking lights

i'll post results when i get it done in april when i've finished moving and have unpacked everything.
