you'lll have to get rid of the plastic strips to make it look a bit smoother.

I agree with EFFalcon, doesnt suit it, but all for their own, i was orignally going to go woth the GTP kit, but worth way to much pay well over $1000 for a front bar when you are just going to cut it and what not.

ive just got my BAXR6 rear bar today, and will start cutting and fibreglassing. another long weekend ahead for me.

cheers kyle

thnx everyone for ur responses, yea kyle ur car kinda got me onto customising the bar and the origional bars are hell expensive, and considering im cuttin them up im gettin copies from awc, id like to move the cross brace in the typhoon bar to make it line up with the eb grille but then i think it wud loose its effect :P but yea :D im rly lookin foward to doin this :D. Rusch, the foglights will work and will be wired up :P they def set the bar off!

from memory, the bars from AWC, are fibreglass, and you cant bend fibreglass, the bars are about 6" wider than the early modles.

it would haev to be a genuine bar.

so you can bend the plastic and all.

yeah mine was heaps wider, i had to pull the sides in a fair way maybe not 6" but a good 2" each side.

and had to make custom iron bars, for it to fit up to the car, that was the hard part.

not looking forward to rear.

well i'll jsut say u wont be bale to do it with a fibreglass bumber, you still have to bend the sides in and wont be able to move its form.

fibreglass has some flex, just not as much as plastic.
i think it'd very much depend on how you went about building it.

yeah true, but once fibreglass if flexed and then fixed into posistion with any slight movment, it will eventually crack under preasure, thats the only problem, and really i wouldnt want hime to go though all that effort to creat the bar and find out a week later its cracked from been under to much stress.

But would be able to jsut cut the side off and create a tighter curve but once again its alot of hard work involved.
