I am a bit confussed. I was thinking of buying a xr body kit for my car but i am a bit confused on the bumpers. When you buy the kit do u get the whole bumper back and front or just the skirt and attach it on? Help would be appreciated.

What sorta model?
With the EF/EL's, the Tickford kit (as came on some XR's) is just a front, side and rear skirt package - sometimes spoiler too. Theyre just skirts that attach onto your current set up.
It won't replace your front bar to one with XR round headlights or anything!

Depends what you buy.

EL XR kits fit on some EF's and vice versa. CCS has the skirts for an awesome price and as for the bumper it should be equal around there.

The EL XR kit is slightly bigger... The door pods and rear skirt are larger and the rear wing is higher. The kits will fit either model.

You can try your luck at the wreckers... They don't last long but you can get some good deals. I recently bought a full EL XR kit for $500... They included the complete boot lid and rear bar. (They can't sell them if they remove the wing/skirts cos of the mounting holes).

Mint! Except for the front which was smashed to buggery (I'm getting an SVO spoiler anyway) and one of the door pods was rooted... Went back last week to see if they had any door pods and showed him the one I got originally... He was p****d when he realised it was a genuine Ticky kit!!!  8-) . They didn't have any so I strolled down to FTG and they brought out a box of 'em!!! Too easy.
