The last three days we've been getting pretty full on stuck into working on the car.

On saturday we spent most of the day prepping and priming all the small exterior plastics that need to be done in silver (such as handles, side mirrors, spoiler etc).

Sunday was spent sanding back the primer and spraying them in color. Unfortunately since the alot of it was previously sprayed in enamel paint, a few of the things had places were the two paints reacted due to the primer being too thin, so those were then sanded back and primed again.

Today, we got stuck into fixing and sanding the bonnet, and also gave it a lick of primer to better show any minor imperfections that still need to be tacked. Also, i spent some time sanding back all the corners on the boot and rear quarters aswell as all the imperfections.

Here's some pics

Also took the opportunity to take some happy snaps of the engine bay while the car was outside. As you can see in the pics, the belt shroud was also painted in silver. Still not sure whether i like it, so any comments on this would be appreciated...

So yeah, been a busy few days, and the next few will be just as busy. More pics and updates as they happen :)

Bonnet bulge looks great and the polished engine bay looks like a thing of beauty. I have always admired people who can take the time to develope the details in a car. :D :) 8-)

Not too much, basically hid all the engine loom under the manifold, and had everything HPC coated. The belt shroud was prolly the most time consuming thing lol
