hey does the any model of the falcon E series come with a cover for the back of the boot lid. Want to make my own but wondering how they attach it.....

Yep - EF fairmont and fairmont ghias had the carpet lining.
It fits on the inside of the bootlid with clips, like ones that hold in the trim pieces for the tail lights inside the boot - plastic with teeth either side.

thanks guys im wonderin whether to go to the wreckers and get 1 and cover it rather than start from scratch and making my own...

Futura upwards had them so it shouldn't be too hard to find one.
i'd deffinately recommend geting one from a wrecker first, if u have no luck then try makin one.

Must've been deleted in EL's. My futura didn't come with one. ;(
Fairlane/LTD have 'em too, but of course it's a different size.
