Anyone know where I can get my boss bulge cut off the fiberglass bonnet and grafted onto my steel bonnet. I was just talking to a fella at work with a VS V8 commy wagon with a grafted boss bonnet onto a steel bonnet but it was like it when he bought it so yeh anyone got any ideas??
I've had this stupid bonnet sitting in the shed for months coz the tucked up paint job and I wanna do something with it

you would be better off buying a new Bulge, by the time you get the old one off the Dunnydoor Bonnet it will be stuffed as will his bonnet. Bulges can be had for around the $110.00 mark. Fitment is no big issue as long as it is done properly.

I've got a fibreglass boss bonnet sitting in the shed but don't wanna pay another 900 bucks for a paint job coz the first one stuffed up coz old matt never baked it before he painted it. So someone could cut the bulge out and put it on my steely couldn't they?

have you thought about looking at the aftermarket steel bonnets? they go for $550-$650, i think they supply them painted for an extra $400 on ebay...
there will be quite a few hours of labour in doing a quality graft, and would probably work out cheaper to get a complete bonnet... plus its steel and you never have to worry about the graft cracking around the edges!

Thought about it but at the moment asking around anyone I know might work with fibreglass and might be able to have a crack at it otherwise yes I am
just gunna buy a steely coz they're so god damn sexy I miss my bonnet
