I own an EA and im after advice on fitment or refitment of my fronnt and rear bumpers!

Coz they DO NOT line up properly at all the clips are all f**k up so I cant do anything about it except hope 1 of you guys knows how to or were to go to get them fixed professionally!

go to the wreckers and walk around till you find a set of non stuffed clips (good luck, all the wreckers near me have no good ones left) its pretty easy to fix up yourself

Yeah they are pretty fooked those bumpers. Can happen to EF/EL ones too, but not as badly. EF must be better as I did back into a concrete wall at Garden City at about 4/5km/h, lol. No sag, just a wee bit of a scratch.

Were do I get new ones from? Ford? aftermarket?

Ford
p/n EA 17N800 A

Front and Rear are the same. they clip into the Guard / Rear Quarter and then the bar has slides that go into them. should make sense when you see them

Yeah get the clips from Ford, I bought some recently cost about $8 for two.

Just so i know. Ur talking about those black clips that go in to the sides and the bar slides in? If so if ur in SA i know lonsdale auto wreckers have heaps. I used to work there and they know what common problems are so they get alot of that s**t.

Hence towards me leaving we NEVER pulled out any EF/EL ABS moduals cause they never break.

Yeh get how to fit em gotta do some remoulding/painting of bumpers before fit though. so will prob lose them b4 get round to fittin them!

yeah i have got about 6 or more of them kicking around somewhere for my car. ive moved house so not too sure where they are. ill probably end up getting more when i actually get around to fixing the bars
