hey, ive taken off the hubcaps and just cleaned the stock rims with a rag, most off the brake dust has come off but thers just some bits that wnt. i want them 2 look shiny and black. like on this vl, but on my ef which is beta.

thats not a cool look... to me it isnt anyway, try degreaser, or get some gumption in a bucket with warm water and a scourer and scrub the dirt off.

man for a moment there i thought u owned that vl <shudders>

i cleaned up my fairmont rims with nothing more than hot soapy water and a non abrasive scrubing brush. ellbow grease is the key i believe

if theyre steelies, a fresh coat of paint will tidy them up

i found out how 2 make them shiny, it was by accident lol. i 1st washed the wheels with hot water and soap, then i put that tyre shine spray stuff on the tyres and some sprayed on the wheels, so i went 2 wipe it off and it made it look shiny and it stayed like that.

They don't actually look that good. I was bored one day so I took off my 17's and put the stockies on all round. It looked real feral so i did all the wheels and tyres with tyre shine. Came up super glossy but it ended up lookin even more feral so I put my mags back on.

yeah tyre shine does the trick, get the one which sprays a foam, it works better.

I still think that if u are gonna have stockos then having hubcaps look way better than not having them
