I,m about to fit a pair of cornering lights on my 96 El Fairmont wagon.
My question is, has anyone wired them up to come on the whole time when the headlights are on, hi & low beam.
Is this legal in QLD?
I dont really want to spend time making up the kit to turn them on only with the indicators, any one want to build me the kit needed???

I had it attached to my low beams. One day got pulled over for random breath test and had a go at me "we fine people $77 for fog lights"..

So now I have wired them up to a switch, but low beams must be on. Just like fog lights :)

aka "i dont like fog lights so i'm going to scare you."

If theyre on when you have you parkers/low beam on then they cant do squat, unless the lights are a different colour ie red and blue.

Yeah, i got mine wire up to come on when my parkers are on. Only for looks though, doesn't give you any light which aids in your night vision, lights up the gutters a bit but thats about all. Had a cop look at mine when i was pulled over last but he was more concerned about how low my car was and didn't mention them. For best results it's wise to wire them through a 5 pin relay, pick them up from an electronics store for around six bucks.
