It s**t me when people ask for prices on here, what are we the people who are supplying the parts, you have 10 (well hopefully) fingers ring for yourself. then if you feel it is a little steep put it to the forum members. There are a lot of different prices floating about from different parts of the country.

Sorry, had to release

I didn't mean to come accross so harsh.

Maybe we need a thread for this, "average cost of mods" to be used as a reference before asking. Would save time and may cut down on repeating threads. (not saying this is one of course)

But you get the idea.??

thats fine. thats a fair point. i should of had a look in the parts bit of the site too.

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/parts.php?pageid=6

i dont think it's been updated for a fair while tho. i was sorta thinking the same thing about the tech docs page. there's a lot of really useful stuff going to waste in the forums that no one can find or that is taking up space or repeted. i put my hand up to di it and the reply i got was "it's fine the way it is, people can use the search button"

Maybe when someone finishes a mod whatever it is, they can post the mod and revelant cost in the docco section or parts list section, How easy would it be if there was a big list of mods and revelant costs to just scroll through it, searching if ok, but with the vast number of people on this forum, the wording can be different from person to person so a search may not always bring up the right answers.

Just a thought

thats what i asked Mod Happy about. he said i quote "the search is good enough." i'd love to be the one to manage it. but he doesn't seem really helpful
