the grill is now on, i've some paint prob's that won't be sorted till feb
but is in tune with the rest of the paint...(good from far-but far from good) 
the down side......people asking what's under the hood! 
have to fast track the engine

spoke to him today, can't get it fixed till feb 
& he said "if i knew you were going to be so fussy i would have charged you double!!!!" i don't know? is to much to ask to get what you pay for? yes he had other car's that were going to earn him more cash! but sloppy work is not on!!! if make a deal/dead line to get a job done ...do it or offer an explanation! his work on another car i've seen is good!....(it was a full respray + bonnet mod) i don't know? just beware. |

and u wrecked it by putting a monster tacho in there. hey bro the needles go up at the same time...... sickkkkk

Yeah mate, Don't leave it like that...
Just tell him, you paid, you deserve good work and ARE going to get it from him. You didn't ask for a cheap half a*** job right? so why should he assume, and you pay for it. |

If i was a more experienced spray painter (i.e 2-3 year) i would get you to come down to my work and do it after hours for $0 or a slab of beer _________________ thanks for the offer but will give him the chance to fix what's wrong. will be dropping the bonnet of to him after xmas so he can fix what's wrong, finger's crossed it all works out.....as he knows i've had alot of people asking about it & where i got it done!!!! (more buisness for him). |

lil_lincoln wrote: and u wrecked it by putting a monster tacho in there. hey bro the needles go up at the same time...... sickkkkk yes they do but the factory one will not go to the rpm's it'll be going to in the near future  got the bonnet back from "fibero surgery" on friday & look's great...(waiting for paint to harden) got him to put a notch on each side (camaro style) to remedy the prob i had with it tareing on the back of the scoop  it was also a chance for him to fix some paint issue's it had on the first go.some quick pic's.

I would be f**k livid if I got something back and his response was that. i did'nt have much tongue left when i went back the first time (from biteing it so much) but gave him the chance to do save face on a bad job.....at the end of the day it's his name on the bonnet & can give or take away work from him! it has'nt been even a week yet, so will save my final verdict till a week or two's time once the paint settle's....so far look's great
