I was trying to set up my old driving lights on my EF following the tech doc on "how to wire up driving lights"
but instead of wireing them up to my headlights, i wired them up to a seperate switch inside my interior.

The proplem is that when i press the switch on or off, the lights dont come on and my relay makes this clicking noise.
Can anyone help please??

Check the light earthing and also see if a voltage is going to the light on the live wire.

I don't get it.. i followed the doco exactly. 30 - power, 85 - earth, 87 - lights (ive got the light's earthed too), and 86 - goes to a switch... but all i get is that clicking. I tried wiring it up to my headlights instead of a switch like in the tech doc, but i still just get that damn clicking!!

arggh!! :( :(
