ok my highbeams have been dead for a while and im gonna get round to fixing them soonish.
when i have my normal headlights on and flick on the higbeams i have no lights at all 
also the dash symbol doesnt pop up. any ideas or suggestions? someone mentioned relays but i got no idea for the life of me thanks Kezz

i'd check the globes and relays to start with. if you get a service manual it should tell you which relay it is. or someone here may know. i'm pretty sure its one of them on the left hand side of the battery. one thing you might do is put your ear down there when someone turns them on and see if you can hear the relay click.

check the circut breaker too while your at it

um checked the fuse nothing is broken. will take a
look at the relay. occasionaly it comes back on and then just goes back to not working

Its the circuit breaker, which is along the drivers inner guard, rectangle shape, silver/gold colour, with two wires/plugs coming out of it.
