Hi all,

After a lot of umm and ahhhing, finally took the plunge and removed the rear spoiler.

The look absolutely blows me away.

What do you think.

Wow! I never thought 'removing' a spoiler could make a car look so tough. Certainly makes you look twice plus that Herrod badging really sets the rear-end off. Nice work.

Looks tough, stands out from all the other XR's on the road. Id like to see it dropped about another 1 to 1 1/2 inches in road height aswell! Now that would really set it off! I reckon. Another thing I reckon would look good is dual exhaust on either side, but not twin pipes either side just a single fat tip on each side..........s**t I'll have to go buy my own and do these mods. lol  P.S. what train station are u at there?

Yeah I have to second that as well. I reckon as well cars without Spoilers look so much tougher. Looks a bit try hard Boy-racer to me with Spoilers on.

Looks awesome mate. Great results, looks a heap cleaner, and unique. Would catch a fair few more eyes now.

I think the trend to do away with spoilers begins with you.
No one says we must put spoilers on a car just because it's a model a few specs up with a V8.
You have completely cleaned up the lines on that car by removing the spoiler, and your XR8 now looks impressivley beautiful. What a frickin nice car the BA XR8 is guys hey?

I would definately order one without the spoiler now. And I think the GT and GT-P would look impressive without them too. Let the cars beautiful lines and panel work do all the talking yeah

...cheers.

I'am not a real lover of spoilers but some cars look good with them mainly Lancers & other Asian cars. I think the standed XR series spoiler's on the AU's does no justice to the shape. But the BA can get away with a rear spoiler and look good.

Keep it off. BA's look s**t with spoilers apart from the GT/Typhoon.
Looks much cleaner without it.
