Ive got an EF Fairmont and im interested in putting some driving lights in my lower front bumper, was just wondering if anyone has undertaken a similar project to let me know rough costs and how much work is involved that sorta thing??

hella FF-50 comets in my front vents - lol not that they work for some reason, they stopped a while ago & haven't been bothered to find out why! :P

do you want em for looks for to work? I think if you want them for looks in an EF fairmont, get the cornering lamps from the fairlane and wire them up as driving lights.

The only other option is to gte creative and have something hang off the front of your car. Like me! Probably not a thing of beauty, but my lights are there for shining, not for looking good.

well i really want them to work but dont want them to look crappy so wat kind of a job do those cornering lamps do?? And are they expensive??

The cornering lamps shine sideways out on an angle .. not in front really at all ... they may haelp in fog if you want to see off the side of the road ... but not really for distance at all.

I have a set of LightForce 240 Strikers to put on the ute .... I just need a decent nudge bar now ... and "hoping" to low mount them (if they fit under the nudge bar) ... but seeing as they are 24cm in diameter ... they are kinda big ... but with a 1.5-2km range ... they are great for dark highways and freeways (especially where I live).

I had them on the Territory for a short time ... but the fiancee hated the size of them.

were on the old front bar when i got it, but they cost ~$145 from coventrys from memory - i have the receipt from home. just a custom (basic) bracket to hold them in! :wink:

you want good lights or good looking lights?

these are good lights but not too good looking they work well
Hella rallye 1000 $159 ea 1spot 1 spread beam bracket costom made out of 3mm aluminium plate.
