If the problem persists after the relay has been changed and the car has done a high number of km's you will find it is the fuel pump.

This is located inside the fuel tank and if you can get the sender unit out without removing the tank it will take about 1 hour. Lift up the carpet in the boot on the left and unscrew the cover and disconnect the wiring to the pump, then start the car to relieve the pressure from the fuel line before disconnecting (otherwise fuel will go everywhere) and changing the pump.

Otherwise the tank will need to come out (remove the fuel first) and unscrew the bumper on the rear left and undo the wire inside the filler flap, then remove tank. Then remove the sender unit as the fuel pump is connected to this bracket also and change the pump and in tank filter. This will take about 2hours.

Pump costs about $190, new.
Good luck.
