Well its all started,
at 2pm today I pulled off the XR6 front of the EB I drilled and removed all the spot welds fron the original radiator suport panel removed it made several mods and fitted up the ef/l fairmont unit,

The Brand New parts are fitted to the car as a test fit,
New Gaurds
New Rad Support
New Headlights
New indicators
New bonnet catch,
All Parts used so far a genuine ford items, and fit really well

and all this in 2.5 hours, not a bad effort,

I wonder what my old XR front would be worth,

Once I get more done I will let you know

got any pics of your eb now mate, i rekon that they look alot better with the newer fronts on them

Sorry mate, no pics as yet as I dont have a camera,

But yes its gonna look tuff as I am using a fairlane bar with corner lights and maybe a fairlane grill, I have a fairmont grill also so not sure as yet

mine has only got the el gli bar on mine but one day i might whack on xr lights with a typhoon style front bar

Here are a few pics of the conversion so far,

I have put on the Fairlane bar with corner lights, and its all fitted with a fairmont bonnet, all is working a driving,
Did final measurements before I spot welded it, and it was .002mm out of square, so otherwise PERFECT, just have for fix a few more things and align the headlights, I noticed the electric ariel is different to the EB one so I have ordered a new one from the ford dealer, I still have to fit the new side mouldings and fit the new door handles and repeater lights,,,, Im still thinking of what color to paint the car in so It can wait a while, the motor is the next thing to be done, and I will paint it at the same time with the motor, as I want to color code the engine to the car at the same time,
